Bio

When Eugene Ard was born on March 17, 1900, in Summerdale, Alabama, his father, Elijah, was 34 and his mother, Martha, was 20. He married Magnolia Jones on October 5, 1919, in Baldwin, Alabama. They had six children in 12 years. He died on March 19, 1965, in his hometown at the age of 65, and was buried there. I don't know the whole story but he was raised through family of his mother that died in her children's early age... He met his wife from crenshaw county and had their first child in lottie alabama, eventually ending up in his birth place summerdale al to settle his own family. I have always heard he came home to baldwin county with the Dawsons which was his mothers maiden name.
