Bio
Mrs. Vernice V. Scott, age 63, a native of Lottie, Alabama and a resident of Summerdale, died August 23. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. on August 25 from the Greenwood Bible Deliverance Church with Rev. Charles Golden officiating. Interment was in Wynn Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Scott, Summerdale; three daughters, Mrs. Vonceil White, Mableton, Georgia, Mrs. Eugenia White, Brewton and Mrs. Dorothy Faye Harms, Summerdale; one son, Eric Scott, Cartersville, Georgia; her mother, Mrs. Magnolia Crider, Summerdale; two sisters, Mrs. Willella Harms and Rev. Marie Harms, both of Summerdale; two brothers, Eugene Darrill Ard, Pensacola and Clyde Ard, Secane, PA; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
