Son of Eugene and Magnolia Jones Ard. Husband of Bessie Lois Barnett Ard and Eva Mae Price Ard. Eugene Darrill Ard, 72, a native of Dozier and a resident of Pensacola, Fla., died Jan. 26, 1995, in Pensacola. Survivors include his wife, Eva M. Ard of Pensacola; nine sons, Victor Eugene Ard, Ronald Elvin Ard, Max Ard, Daniel Oden Ard, Jeffery Ard and Kent Ard, all of Summerdale, Robert Keith Ard of Orange Beach, Noah Ard of Robertsdale, and Fredrick Donald Ard of Foley; four daughters, Marilyn Jean Douglas, Mary Magnolia and Rebecca Ann Burgette, all of Summerdale and Willa Lynn Springsteen of Foley; 24 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were held Jan. 28 at Bayview Funeral Home's Foley chapel with the Rev. Craig Kelly officiating. Interment was in Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale. They just don't make em like him anymore!. Big! heart Big! family.... He is my pops and we all loved him. He lived life to its fullest.
