Thanks to contributor #48796369 Franklin L. "Bud" Fieldgrove, 60, of Loup City died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2003, at his home. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rasmussen Mortuary in Ravenna. The Rev. Darrell Holzinger will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery at Ravenna. Mr. Fieldgrove was born Oct. 30, 1941, at Sodtown to John H. Sr. and Katherine (Hetrick) Fieldgrove. He was educated in Ravenna, graduating from Ravenna High School in 1960. He served in the U.S. Air Force from Sept. 22, 1960, to Sept. 19, 1968. He served in Vietnam, Japan and Thailand. He married Jane Olson on April 2, 1970, in Kearney. THe couple lived in Ravenna. He worked at Guzinski Implement. They moved to Pleasanton in 1985 and he worked in construction. They moved to Loup City in 1987. He retired due to health reasons in 1993. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife; a son, Calvin Fieldgrove of Loup City; four daughters, Dodie Fieldgrove of Lincoln, Any Nehls of Cedar Rapids, Sarah Fieldgrove of Arapahoe and Karen Fieldgrove of Broken Bow; six grandchildren; three brothers, Amos of Scottsdale, Ariz., Allen of Elba and Sherman "Mert" of Litchfield; and two sisters, Lorraine Kowel of Torrance, Calif., and Iona Bristol of Burwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.
