Joyce Cooper Ludke April 22, 1931 - May 31, 2015 Joyce Cooper Ludke, a lifelong resident of Robertsdale, Alabama and was born on April 22,1931, passed away on Sunday May 31, 2015. She was a graduate of Robertsdale School and attended Montevallo College and the University of Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents, W.B. Cooper and Evelyn Smith Cooper, twin brother, Charles Cooper, brother, Tony Cooper and sister, Carolyn Cooper Childress. She is survived by her beloved husband, William Theodore Ludke (Teddy), her daughter, Lisa Lynn Ludke and Frank Harris, and her sons, Danny Ludke and Sandy Ludke, Benny Ludke; two sisters, Juanita Cooper Freeman and Martha Cooper Loper; two brothers, Robert (Sherry) Cooper and Gail (Charlotte) Cooper; sister-in-law, Mary Kay Cooper; brother-in-law, Dave Childress; five grandchildren, Tyler Ludke, Tara Ludke, Jenna Ludke Triplett, Jason Ludke, Jacqueline Cooper Beck, Gabrielle Ludke, Alex Sullivan and great grandchildren Richard Gavin Beck, Tyler Jackson Beck, Theodore Mason Beck, Cooper Ludke, Reese Ludke and Barron Triplett. Joyce was voted the Outstanding Woman of America in 1965. Our parents owned Coopers Store in Robertsdale and everyone in our family worked there, she excelled in whatever she tried. After her husband retired they decided they wanted to do something else, well they formed Baldwin Bait Farm and that worked just fine with the pond in Rosinton. After that their business just flourished and Teddy and Joyce retired. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p. m. at Mack Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Mack Funeral Home on Friday, at 10:00 a.m. Internment will follow at the Old Cooper Cemetery in Rosinton, Alabama.
