Bio
Vester Wright died at Humana Hospital Lake Cumberland after an extended illness. He was 83 years old. He was a retired timber sales administrator for the U.S. Forest Service. He was a member of Cotter Avenue Church of God. He was survived by his sons, Paul Wright of Monroe, Ohio and Lowell Wright of New Castle, Indiana; his daughters, Wanda Burke of Lexington, Kentucky, Ruby Bolton of Somerset, Kentucky, and Mona Wilson of New Castle, Indiana; his sisters, Estelle Edwards of Long Beach, California and Lillian Hargis of Somerset, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley Wright and Sarah Isabelle (Meece) Wright; his wife, Grace (Roark) Wright (married on February 9, 1920 in Oneida, Tennessee); his brothers, Ped Wright, Lee Wright, and Steven Wright; and his sisters, Mary Langford, Carley Snell, Beulah Wright, and Elva Wright. Funeral services were held at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Thomas Ditto, Reverend Tom Adams, and Eugene Sears officiating.
