Bio
Carlie Snell died at her home in Ula at the age of 67. She was a member of the Whetstone Baptist Church. She was survived by her mother, Sarah Isabell (Meece) Wright of Somerset, Kentucky; her husband, O.C. Snell (married December 23, 1915 in Pulaski County, Kentucky); her daughters, Vera Coomer of Somerset, Kentucky, Edna Sears of Dayton, Ohio, and Hazel Pierce of Dayton, Ohio; her sons, Earl C. Snell of Ula and Clyde J. Snell of Middletown, Ohio; her sisters, Mary Langford of Mt. Victory, Lillian Hargis of Somerset, and Estelle Edwards of Norwalk, California; and her brothers, Lee Wright of Indiana and Vester Wright of Somerset, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wesley Wright. Funeral services were held at the Whetstone Baptist Church with Reverend Ewell Hargis and Dr. I.K. Cross officaiting. Farris-Morris-Hislope Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
