Herald Coaster, August 28, 1974: Jerry Buzek, Sr., age 63, of Rosenberg, passed away this morning at Polly Ryon Hospital. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, with burial in Greenlawn. Rosary will be tonight at 7:30 at Triska Chapel, with Father Kappe officiating. Survivors are his wife, Mary of Rosenberg; 4 sons, Jerry Jr., Jimmy, Michael, and Edward, all of Rosenberg; 4 brothers, Ed, Frank, John of Rosenberg, and Joe of San Antonio; sister, Mrs. Vlasta Zurovetz of Alice; and 1 granddaughter. He was a resident of Fort Bend County since 1919 and was a contractor with Buzek & Fagin Construction Co. of Rosenberg. Friends may call after 5 p.m. this evening.
