Herald Coaster, August 28, 1984: Funeral services for Edward S. Buzek, 75, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davis-Dawson Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with Msgr. Robert Barzyk officiating. Buzek, a retired farmer, died Monday at Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston after a lengthy illness. He was a member of the KJT and Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Survivors include three brothers, Frank and John Buzek of Rosenberg, and Joe Buzek of New Braunfels; a sister, Mrs. Arnold (Vlasta) Zurovetz of Agua Dulce; 14 nieces and nephews and other relatives. Friends may call Davis-Dawson Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
