Bio

Herald Coaster, November 15, 1959: Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Buzek, age 77, were held from the Triska Chapel in Rosenberg Friday morning, followed by requiem mass at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Rev. J.J. Tydlacka officiating, assisted by Rev. Charles Patronella. Mrs. Buzek was born in Latium on Nov. 5, 1882. On Oct. 29, 1907, she married Frank Buzek in Fayetteville. They lived in Ellinger until 1919 when they moved to Rosenberg where she resided at the time of her death following a heart attack. Survivors are her husband, Frank Buzek; five sons, Ed, Jerry, and John of Rosenberg; one daughter, Mrs. Arnold Zurovetz of Alice; and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jerry J. Buzek, Jimmie Buzek, Tim Andel, Stanley Andel, Felix Buzek, and August Morris. Interment was made in the Garden of Gethsemane East, with the Triska Funeral Home directing.
