Bio

Herald Coaster, May 15, 1958: Funeral services for Will Edward Sulak, 65, were held from the Triska Chapel on May 14 followed by Requiem Mass at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mr. Sulak was born Jan. 1, 1892 in Praha. In 1912, he married Miss Mary Ann Pisklak in Wallis. They made their home in the Wallis and East Bernard community until 1948 when they moved to Richmond. He passed away suddenly following a heart attack. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Leonard Sulak of East Bernard, William Sulak of Dickerson, Daniel Sulak of Richmond; five daughters, Mrs. Stella Chernohorsky of East Bernard, Mrs. Virginia Hauser of Houston, Mrs. Mary Alice Venglar of Rosenberg, Mrs. Dolores Schneider of Rosenberg, and Mrs. Anna Duncan of New Mexico; twenty-five grandchildren; three brothers, Alex Sulak and Edwin Sulak of Wallis and Robert Sulak of Lane City; three sisters, Mrs. Tonie Novosad of Lane City, Mrs. Lucy Telner of Wallis, and Mrs. Lillie Gerlich of Wharton. Interment in the Garden of Gethsemane East, with the Triska Funeral Home directing. *********************************************************************************** Note: Obituary and death certificate both show that he was born in 1892, whereas the headstone shows 1893.
