Fort Bend Herald, September 8, 2013: Dolores Judith Schneider, 77, was received by her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at her home in Needville with her loving husband at her side. She was born October 7, 1935 in East Bernard to William and Mary Ann (Pisklak) Sulak. Dolores was a devoted member of St. Michael the Arch Angel Catholic Church in Needville. Dolores was a retired LVN whose nurturing spirit touched so many even after her retirement. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Melvin Charles Schneider; 3 sons, Mark Allen Schneider and wife, Francine, Charles Wayne Schneider and wife, Brenda, and David Lynn Schneider and wife, Debbie; and 1 daughter, Jackie Schneider; 1 sister, Virginia Hauser; 1 brother; Daniel Sulak and wife, Margie; 8 grandchildren, Sena Clinton, Blake Schneider, Allie Schneider, Benjamin Schneider, Susannah Schneider, Jessica Shapiro, Emily Shapiro, and Matthew Shapiro; and 2 great-grandchildren, Mason Schneider and Whitley Stasney. She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday evening, September 9, 2013, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel at the Funeral Home.
