Fort Bend Herald, March 20, 2007: Funeral mass for Mary Venglar, 75, of Rosenberg, will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, with Fr. Dan Warden officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2007, from 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M., with rosary & wake service at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Davis Greenlawn in Rosenberg. Mary was born in East Bernard on August 15, 1931. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Bingo and cards, working puzzles and scratch off lottery tickets. She passed away March 16, 2007 in Sugar Land, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Sulak; husband, Frank Venglar; sisters, Martha Sulak, Stella Chernohorsky, Ann Nichter; brothers, Richard, Bill, and Leonard Sulak. Mary is survived by children, Beverly Krejci of Rosenberg and companion, Jimmy Shed, Deborah Venglar of Rosenberg, Cheryl Kure and husband, Ronnie, of Needville, Kimberly Sulak and husband, Sonny, of East Bernard, Douglas Venglar of Rosenberg; grandchildren, Tracy Drabek and husband, Tim, Marla Krejci and companion, Brian Lara, Michael Venglar, Ronnie Kure Jr., Greg Kure, Brett Kure, Lane Sulak; great-grandson, Tristan Venglar; along with numerous other family and friends.
