Bio
Peter Konwinski, 78, of 231 E. First Ave, Stanley, died Friday night. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Stanley, the Rev. Edmund Cramer officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Born in Nebraska April 20, 1889, he married Veronica Banarck, Sept. 30, 1913. The couple farmed at Fullerton, Neb. Before moving to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), where they farmed for 39 years. Mr. and Mrs. Konwinski retired in 1960 and moved to Stanley. Surviving are his wife; four sons, four daughters, six brothers, two sisters, 29 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
