Bio
Edward J. Konwinski, 80, of Chippewa Falls, WI passed away peacefully Sunday February 12, 2017 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. Edward was born on November 15, 1936 in Clark County to Peter and Vera Konwinski. He married Audrey Thom on April 26, 1958 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cadott. Edward worked at Peter’s Meats Packing Company for 15 years and then at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 36 years. Edward enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Edward is survived by his wife Audrey Konwinski of Chippewa Falls; daughter Debbie (Ron) Wyatt of Gainesville, TX; sons Dan (Jackie) Konwinski of Eau Claire and Dale (Laura) Konwinski of Chippewa Falls. Grandchildren Ryan (Shanna) Konwinski, Kyle (Catelyn) Konwinski, Craig (fiancé Brianna Pilling) Konwinski, Nic (Annie Gunderson) Konwinski. Great grandchildren Brielle, Kane, Adeline. A sister Rosie Koepl, a brother Chet Konwinski and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Vera Konwinski. Sisters Tillie Holewinski, Theresa Gazda, Irene Derks and brothers Raymond and Virgil Konwinski. Funeral services will be Monday, February 20, 2017 at The English Lutheran Church of Bateman at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Barry Boyer officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will on Sunday Feb. 19, 2017 from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott and also one hour before services Monday morning at the Church. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, Memorials are preferred by the family.
