Houston Chronicle, September 14, 1995: Funeral services for Annie Stavinoha DeShazo, 84, of Rosenberg, will be held Friday, September 15, 1995, at 3:00 p.m. at Davis-Greenlawn Chapel in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Dr. Donnie Melton, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Rosenberg, will officiate the services. Mrs. DeShazo was born September 2, 1911 in Beasley, Texas. She passed away September 12, 1995 in Richmond, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bert DeShazo. She is survived by daughter, Janet Ashworth and her husband, Al, of Rosenberg; son, Glenn DeShazo and his wife, Donna, of Houston; sister, Edna Kubosh of Rosenberg; sisters-in-law, Vlasta Stavinoha of Sugar Land, Bettie DeShazo of Eagle Lake; grandchildren, Lauren DeShazo, Kelly Ashworth, Ginger Tucker and her husband, Thomas, Robin Schwenke and her husband, Mark; 2 great-grandchildren, Miranda and Ashley Tucker. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 1995, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry (FM 2218 & Highway 59), Rosenberg, 713-341-8800.
