The mother of 10 children,,,, 5 sons,,,,5 daughters. Bureal (Burr), Eva May, Arthur William, Ellen Mary, Bessie Elizabeth, Frank, Robert Victor, Kenneth Maxwell, Nettie, and Myrtle Elizabeth...... Selona's husband was pulling stumps, when a chain broke, severely injuring him...,,, he died two days after the accident. ......Their daughter, Ellen Mary, remembered seeing her father, prepared for his funeral, laying on the parlor table after his death..... Selona died of Pneumonia caused by Influenza. Most of her children were to sick to attend her funeral.....All other family lived to far away to even know what had happened....All communication with her father's family ended with the death of Selona....... The oldest son Bureal, who was 23 years old, took most of the children to Wisconsin. The children ranged in age from 23 to 2........ The youngest, Myrtle and Nettie were placed in an orphanage and placed with the Patrick McPherson family,,, their names were changed to Rosemary, and Mary Frances.... They were found by a DNA test from a Grandchild.... Her name has been spelled Laura, Selona, Selena, Sclonie, Lena, Magdelena….. Selona has been lost to the family for 100 years.....we have finally found where she rests........She has no Gravestone......This family endured to much loss,... too young.
