Bio
Herald Coaster, March 26, 1973: Funeral services for William Talasek Sr., 75, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 3 p.m. today at the Rosenberg Brethren Church, with the Rev. Milton Maly officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Talasek died Saturday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. A native of Bell County, he had been a resident of Rosenberg since 1928. He was an Allis Chalmers dealer in the area for many years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carrie Talasek; one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Rawlings of Rosenberg; sons, William Talasek Jr., Marion Talasek, Marvin Talasek, and Melvin Talasek, all of Rosenberg; sister, Mrs. Joe Simek of Houston; brother, Ed Talasek of Temple; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
