Bio

Sister Mary Olga Zotz, age 95, a Sister of Divine Providence, entered eternal life on February 3, 2009. She was born in Schulenburg, Texas on February 2, 1914 and became a Sister of Divine Providence at 20 years of age. Sister Olga began her ministerial life at St. Rose School in Schulenburg in 1934. In the years that followed, she taught in various schools in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. In 1997, Sister Olga retired to Our Lady of the Lake Convent Center. The Rosary was at 4 p.m. February 6 and the Wake was at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 3:30 p.m. February 7. All services were in Annunciation Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake Convent Center. Published in The West News, West, Texas, February 12, 2009
