Bio
Joseph C. Zotz Sr., born Oct. 27, 1926, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2007, at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Joe West Zotz; sons Joe Tim Zotz Jr. and wife Vivian, West Zotz Sr. and wife Margaret, and Willie Zotz and wife Cathy; and daughters Cindy Clay and husband John and Lessie Zotz. He is also survived by his sisters, Annie Burkett and Olga Zotz; nine grandchildren, Erin Jenkins, West Zotz Jr., Lisa Zotz, Brandon Clay, Kimberly Zotz, Samantha Zotz, Steven Zotz, Katelyn Zotz, and Kurt Zotz; and great-grandchildren Kira Clay and Kylie Jenkins. US Army veteran 1945-1946 Visitation was held Saturday, March 17, beginning at noon in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale. A funeral service followed at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Father Dennis Jarzombek officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wilson County. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
