Leonard Tworek of Columbus died Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Columbus Community Hospital. Leonard Tworek was born January 20, 1926 in Columbus to Frank and Barbara (Terasinski) Tworek. Leonard was the grandson of Pioneers of Platte County in the 1860s, Valentine and Francesca Bladzik Jarecki, Bartholomew Micek Tworek, Veronica Bladzik Jarecki Tworek, Victor Schwank Terasinski and Anna Liss Terasinski. He attended Kramer High School and graduated in 1945. Leonard was a farmer for 48 years. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Perpetual Adoration, and the Secular Franciscans. Leonard was an artist having done many oil paintings through the years and loved his flower garden.
