Fort Bend Herald, February 15, 2008: Funeral services for Marvin Henry Miller, 75, of Guy, TX, are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville, TX, with Rev. Fred Banda officiating. Burial will follow in the IUCC Church Cemetery in Needville, TX. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Saturday, February 16, 2008, at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville, TX. Mr. Miller was born July 15, 1932, in Fort Bend County, TX, to Henry Anton Miller and Elizabeth Zwahr Miller, who preceded him in death. He died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at West Houston Medical Center, Houston, TX. He served proudly in the US Army, and he was a lifetime member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville, TX. He was a heavy equipment operator for a sulphur plant for many years. Mr. Miller loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he could fix anything. He enjoyed being a member of the 360 Coffee Club. Survivors include his loving wife, Joy Caraway Miller, of Guy, TX; four children, Sandra Eversole and husband, Robert, of Guy, TX, Becky Meuth and husband, Junior, of Needville, TX, Bubba Miller and wife, Tammey of Guy, TX, and Kenny Miller and wife, LuAnn, of Columbus, TX; daughter-in-law, Donna Miller of Guy, TX; 14 grandchildren, Brandi Corn and husband, James, of The Woodlands, Jennifer Eversole of Guy, TX, Brian Eversole, stationed with the US Navy in Hawaii, Adam Meuth and wife, Stacy, of Sugar Land, Brett Meuth and wife, Tiffany, of Richmond, TX, Cody Meuth of Houston, TX, Natalie Miller, Brandon Miller, Kyle Sopchak, Whitney Sopchak, Kellen Miller, and Chase Miller, all of Guy, TX, Alec Bray and Alyssa Bray, both of Columbus, TX; 3 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Corn of The Woodlands, and Kyleigh and Grant Meuth, both of Sugar Land; 3 brothers, Paul Miller and wife, Martha, of Needville, TX, Eugene Miller of Guy, TX, and Irvin Miller and wife, Bernice, of Nederland, TX; and one sister, Evelyn Gorka of Rosenberg, TX.
