Bio

Charles married Irene Albena Zoubek on 29 July 1913 in Butte, NE. They had a son who was 5 years old in 1918. In 1918, Charles had a residence in Spencer that he shared with his father, Vaclav. He wasn't married to Irene but had to support his five year old son. He also had a residence in Ward county, ND. He worked as a farmer and tractor operator for a company out of Alberta Canada. By 1920, he was working as a farmhand in Eureka, ND. Charles married Julia Susak on 21 Mar 1921 in Minot, ND. They farmed near Eureka until retiring in 1966. Charles was a member of the Bohemian Lodge and the Modern Woodmen. Charles and Julia had children, Leo J., Charles W., Walter R. and Mary Agnes Soltis.
