C. Ross Of Wylie Passes Away At His Home Friday Night ------*----- Douglas Cleveland Ross, 72, died at his home in Wylie at 6:30 p.m. Friday. He was born September 19, 1885 in Rockwall, and was a member of the Baptist Church and W.O.W. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Douglas C. Ross of Wylie; seven sons, Haskell E. Ross of Shiro, Calif., Lawrence D. and George W. Ross, both of Dallas; Bobby D., Perry, and David C. and Danny K. Ross, all of Wylie; seven daughters, Mrs. Agnes Eaves and Mrs. Anne Bozeman, both of Wylie; Mrs. Olita N. Cline and Mrs. Gladys Housewright, both of Dallas; Mrs. Dorothy K. Emery of Arlington and Mrs. Bernice Davidson of McKinney; four brothers, F. S. Ross of Rowlett; Wesley Ross of Wylie; Joe and Tom Ross, both of Rockwall; three sisters, Mrs. Eula Foster and Mrs. Ola Cross, both of Wylie; Mrs. Tina White of Lake Dallas; 24 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church at Wylie conducted by Rev. Milton Greer and the pastor of the church, Rev. Jones. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery, Wylie.
