Dorothy K. Pruitt, 86, of Fort Smith, AR, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born March 8, 1925 in Allen, TX. She was a Realtor in Granbury, TX. She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Emery of Stephenville, TX; a son, Mike Emery of Fort Smith, AR; a sister, Gladys Housewright of Louisville, TX; one grandchild and one great grandchild. Mrs. Pruitt will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
