Bio
Lena B. Tinsley, 91, passed away on Wednesday, December, 11, 2013, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. She was born in Moweaqua, Illinois, on March 4, 1922. Her parents were the late David Alonzo Gaither and Eva (Kemp) Gaither. Also preceding her in death were five brothers, three sisters and her husband, Alexander "Eck" Tinsley, who passed away on January 31, 2009. A homemaker, she was a member of Worldwide Church of God, enjoyed making quilts and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Gary Tinsley, Tobinsport; Kaye Daugherty (Truman), Hawesville, Kentucky; John Tinsley (Michelle), Glasgow, Kentucky; sister, Darlene Jones (Floyd), Decatur, Illinois; grandchildren, Mindy Ahl, Michelle Malcomson, Lori Hermann, Jeff Miller, Lexi Hartman, Michael Miller, Trey Tinsley and Ryne Tinsley; great grandchildren, Isaac and Gavin Ahl, Jacob and Caleb Malcomson, Alex, Tyler and Bryce Hermann, Reese, Gant and Bren Miller, Layne, Alyse and Cale Hartman and Aiden, Brody, Tyson, Cash and Sydney Miller. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 13, 2013, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Simons Cemetery in Tobinsport. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday.
