William Earl (Red) Usry, 80, of Conyers, GA, died February 9 at home surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. Mr. Usry was born in Scott County, Mississippi on June 27, 1927. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from American Telephone & Telegraph Company after forty years of service. Mr. Usry was a Shriner and served as a deacon for Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Jeannine Ivey Usry and his three children, William Earl (Pee-Wee) Usry , Jr., Jane Usry Henley, and Katrina Usry Lamb. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law and sons-in-law, Donna Usry , Jim Henley and Rusty Lamb. He is survived by his grandchildren, Jay, Leslie, Jenny and Billy Henley, Kathryn and Rachel Lamb, and Mackenzie and Margaux Usry and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by two sisters, Linda Usry Simmons and Bernice and James Usry Simmons, and two sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce Ivey Burns, Glenda Ivey and Angelo Nebuloni.
