James Thomas Adams, 66, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.J. Brandon. Services were held in the Methodist Church in Goodlett officiated by Rev. Albert Cooper. Mr. Adams came to Hardeman county in 1922 and was a farmer. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving him are two daughters - Mrs. E.J. Brandon Mrs. Earl Montgomery; four sons - Roy Adams, Gordon Adams Devon Adams, R.H. Adams; two sisters - Ona Jenkins, Mattie Stephens; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
