Bio

William H. Adams was born in Maries County Missouri, July 25, 1844. He married Minervia Caroline Chaney November 25, 1867. To this marriage 9 children were born: Mary (Molly) Minervia August 14, 1869, James Thomas February 16, 1872, A Son died at birth June 29, 1874, John William February 20, 1876, Sidney L. Elizabeth May 22, 1878, Callie Orner June 18, 1880, Hugh Francis October 9, 1882, Mattie Bell June 12, 1885 and Charlie Olander December 10, 1887. He served in the Civil War and studied to become a doctor, but he never practiced the profession. His reason " Women were too Complicated." He was drawing a Confederate Pension App. #17355 when he passed away.
