Bio
Rosary service for Frances C. Kahlich, 97, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Englunds Chapel. Resurrection mass services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Nicolas Rendon officiating. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service. Mrs. Kahlich died Tuesday, March 25, 2003. She was born June 3, 1905, in High Hill. She moved to Slaton in 1936. She married Arthur Kahlich on Nov. 15, 1927, in High Hill. They moved to Slaton in 1936. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1987. A daughter, Junell Schilling, also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Altar Society, and Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include three sons, Lloyd of Savannah, Ga., William of Hereford, and Robert of Slaton; two daughters, JeAnn Foerster of Rogers, Ark., and Janice Kitten of Slaton; 23 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren.
