Bio

On May 21, 2013 at 3 AM, Mrs. Willie B. Hogue Lee finished her race as the Apostle Paul did when he wrote 2 Timothy 4: 8. The crown of righteousness is now hers and her better day has come She was born on June 27,1920 in East Texas. She was the seventh of nine children born to Hiram and Emily Hogue. Her husband Tollie C. Lee died in combat in November, 1945 while serving in the Army in WW II in Europe. Tollie and Willie had two daughters. Their eldest daughter Laura Verner died in May, 2002 in Center, Texas. Their youngest daughter Barbara Isaacson lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee and took care of her mother for the past eleven years. They had a wonderful time as mother-daughter friends for those eleven years. Her family includes her son-in-law Kenneth Verner and his two sons, Craig Verner and wife Shannon and Tim Verner. Daughter Barbara Isaacson and husband Jack and their two daughters, Lisa Orme and husband Dr. Terry Orme and Janna Gillard and husband Matt. She had seven Great Grandchildren, Drew Verner, Annais, Micah, Zane and Chloe Madewell, Gabriel and Grayson Gillard. Her funeral will be at Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, Chattanooga, TN.37421 and burial at The Chattanooga National Cemetery. Date and time have not been arranged as of today. Barbara wants to let everyone know that the last eleven years have been very special for her because of being able to spend many wonderful hours with her mother.
