Henry Coker married Idella "Ida" Turner on November 18, 1900 in Hopkins County, Texas, and after her death, Henry married Mary Jane "Janie" Taylor on January 4, 1960, in Fort Towson, Oklahoma. ******************************************************** OBITUARY FROM THE PARIS NEWS, Paris, Texas, Sunday, Oct. 17, 1965 Henry H. Coker Oklahoma News Bureau FORT TOWSON, Okla. -- Funeral services for Henry H. Coker, 83, former water commissioner here, are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Methodist Church, the Rev. Dennis Ewing, pastor, to officiate. Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo will make burial in Doaksville-Fort Towson Cemetery. Mr. Coker died at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital, after an illness. He was born in Polk County, Texas, Jan. 2, 1882, moving to Fort Towson in 1903. He was a long time farmer-stockman and worked 35 years as a Fort Towson election precinct official. Survivors are his wife, Janie; five children: Orville Coker and Mrs. W. J. Massey, Fort Towson; Mrs. Clay C. Rogers, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. William E. Zachary, San Pablo, Calif., and J. H. Coker, Wharton, N. J.; 23 other descendants. Also four step-children: Homer Davis, Fort Worth, Tex.; James F. Davis, Amarillo, Tex.; Mrs. Irsa Canditt, Minden, La.; and Mrs. Laura Sanders, Wichita Falls, Tex.
