OBITUARY FORT TOWSON, Okla. - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Coker, 92, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Assembly of God Church here, where she was the last living charter member. Born Mary Jane Taylor on Feb. 28, 1883, in Garland. Ark., she was a daughter of John S. and Judith (Edgar) Taylor. She had lived in Fort Towson for many years. She died late Thursday night in Memorial Hospital in Hugo. Mrs. Coker is survived by two sons, both living in Fort Towson, Homer L. Davis and James F. Davis; one daughter, Mrs. Irsa D. Cundiff of Minden, La., and 67 other descendants comprising three generations. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Sarah E. Means, Lubbock, Tex. The Rev. O. D. Bates officiated and Coffey Funeral Home, Hugo, was in charge of arrangements, Burial was in Doaksville-Fort Towson Cemetery. ~~Paris News (TX), 17 Aug 1975, Sunday, Page 6
