Thanks to contributor #47447951; BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Lorraine E. Goff , 85, of Bellevue, Wash., died Saturday, April 23, 2005, at home. Mrs. Goff was born May 7, 1919, at Ord to Walter and Mary Jorgensen. She was raised in Ord and attended Haskell Creek School. On Aug. 31, 1940, she married William R. Goff in Ord. They moved to Wood River in 1953 and to Papillion in 1957. She worked at home taking care of her family and their home. Following the passing of her husband in March of 2001, she moved to Bellevue to be near her daughter, Sharon, and her family. Mrs. Goff was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Papillion, Eagle Auxiliary 154 and Eastern Star. In her leisure time she enjoyed baking sewing, embroidery, dancing and talking on the phone to family and friends. Her family will remember her as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who took pride in her home and was proud of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Goff , in 2001. Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Allan Northrup of Bellevue; a son and daughter-in-law, William P. and Sharon Goff of Mapleton, Ill.; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Evelyn Jorgensen of San Marcos, Calif., Dorothy and Rolland Zulkoski of Elyria, Norma Holden and Ina and Eugene Novak, all of Ord. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Ord. Burial will follow in the Ord City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion. Flintoft's Issaquah Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests remembrances to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 324 S. Jackson Street, Papillion, NE 68046.
