Bio

Belleville (KS) Telescope - 10 Feb 1966 Joseph Henry Moravek Joseph Henry Moravek, son of John and Anna Moravek, was born June 3, 1879 near Belleville, Kansas and died January 30, 1966 in the Republic County Hospital at the age of 86 years, seven months and 27 days. He was united in marriage to Blanche Bostik on May 17, 1905. To his union were born two daughters. Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, one brother. He is survived by his wife, Blanche of the home, two daughters, Tillie Monlon, Los Angeles, Cal., and Edwina Malone, Shell Knob, Mo., one brother Adolph of Munden, two sisters, Emma Shuckelton, Manhattan and Kristio Peterka, Belleville, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held in the Tibbetts Bros Funeral Home on February 1 with the Reverend Ralph D. Mitchell officiating. Interment was in the Belleville Cemetery.
