(KS) Belleville Telescope Jan. 3, 1946 Anna Moravek Anna Shara, daughter of Frank and Maria Shara, was born June 29, 1857, near Kelnersville, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, where she lived until the spring of 1875. With her parents she came to Kansas, locating on a farm four miles south of the city of Narka. She was united in marriage to Jan. M. Moravek. October 30, 1875. They settled on his homestead six miles northeast of Belleville, where they resided until the year 1905 and then retired from farming to Munden, Kan. In 1927 they moved to California where they made their home with their daughter, Emma, where Mr. Moravek passed away February 17, 1931. The following summer, Mrs. Moravek returned to Belleville and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. C. H. Peterka. After sixteen months of illness, she passed away on December 25, 1945, at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 26 days. She was a kind and helpful mate to her husband, and endeared herself to her family and neighbors through her kindness and willingness to serve when and where need presented itself.
