Moravek Belleville - Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Home here for John R. Moravek, 87, a former Topekan, who died Monday at a nursing home here. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka. He was born April 17, 1877, near Belleville, and grew up in the Belleville community. He was educated in Belleville community schools and was graduated from Belleville High School. He was a farmer near Munden in Republic County and later operated a repair shop at Munden. He moved to Topeka in 1944 and lived at 1150 High. He was employed at the Topeka Supply Depot. He was a member of Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM, in Topeka, the Over Fifty Years Club of the IOOF Lodge of Munden and the Z.C.B.J. Lodge at Munden. He was married to Alice Prynvek April 15, 1903. She died in May 1958. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Olive Rashleigh, Missouri Valley, Iowa, Mrs. Gayle Wingert, 814 Saline in Topeka, and Mrs. Lucille Polak, Gothensburg, Neb.; two brothers, Joseph H. Moravek, Belleville, and Adolph M. Moravek, Munden; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Shackleton, Manhattan, and Mrs. Kristie Peterka, Belleville; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
