Of late Eddie has followed the carpenter's trade and Cora has been a compositor in the Leader-Independent office. They left on the morning train for Enid, Oklahoma, where Eddie has a position in a large retail store -- where he worked a number of years ago when in that territory. Hurley, March 14, at the district court here. The couple were married at Greeley, Nov. 27, 1907 and separated Dec. 15, 1930. In her petition, the plaintiff charged non-support. Four minor children are affected by the decree. . . . The Grand Island Daily Independent, Grand Island, Nebraska · Saturday, August 04, 1934 pg 5 col. 6 A petition was filed today in the office of the Clerk of District Clinton John by Mrs. Cora B. Hurley asking divorce from Edward F. Hurley, to whom she was married at Greeley, Neb., November 28, 1907. The petition filed by Mrs. Hurley is the second divorce petition to be filed in the clerk of district court's office in recent months. Hearing on the first petition for divorce filed by Mrs. Hurley resulted in granting her the decree on March 14, 1934. A reconciliation was effected, however, and the decree annulled and canceled. There are three minor children and four children have reached their majority. For the past seven years, she alleges, she has been compelled to support herself and three minor children. Temporary alimony, pending hearing on the suit, is asked in the amount of $50 per month, and permanent alimony in the sum of $40 per month is sought.
