Published in Borger News Herald, June 26, 1988) DUMAS - Funeral services for Faye M. Morton, 123 Spruce, Dumas, have been scheduled for 2 pm Monday at the Oak Street Church of Christ here. Mr. Hank Brown of Amarillo will officiate, and burial will be in the Dumas City Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The body will lie in state Monday at the Oak Street Church of Christ from 10 am until service time. Morton, 98, died at 2:50 pm, Friday, June 23, 1988, in Coldwater Manor Convalescent home in Stratford. A retired school teacher, she was a native of Denton and a Dumas resident since 1917. She was a member of Oak Street Church of Christ. She is survived by a daughter, Marguerite Bruscino of Corte Madera, Calif.; a son, Frank Morton of Dumas; a sister, Hazel Thompson of Stinnett; two brothers, Paul Groves of Stinnett, and Richard Groves of Stratford; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. -------------------------
