OBITUARY June 23, 2011 "Sulphur Springs News-Telegram" Sulphur Springs, Texas Funeral services for Jesse Calvin Littrell, Jr., 80, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Rhoades and Rev. Bruce Stinson officiating. Burial will be in Emblem Cemetery under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. He passed away on June 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born on November 25, 1930 in Emblem, the son of Jesse Calvin "Cap" and Lillie Mae (Thurman) Littrell. He married Susie Coffman on September 30, 1948 in Sulphur Springs. She survives. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was the retired owner of Southern Machine Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Billie Ruth Coffman, Mary Catherine Green, and Thelma Raye Kirtley; his half sisters, Della Eloise Prenderville and Mable Elizabeth Patterson; his brother, J. D. Littrell; and his half brothers, James Robert Littrell and Jesse Waller Littrell. Other survivors include his daughters, Barbara Bulkley of Forney and Judy Woolsey of Sulphur Springs; his son, Randall Littrell of Sulphur Springs; his brother, Donald Dewain Littrell of Saltillo; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
