OBITUARY December 15, 1952 "Sulphur Springs News-Telegram" Sulphur Springs, Texas Funeral rites for Billie Ruth Coffman, 20, were held Monday afternoon at Emblem Church. Rev. J. P. Luton conducted the services. Burial was in Emblem Cemetery with Tapp Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She died Friday. She was born on November 6, 1932 in Ridgeway, the daughter of Jesse Calvin "Cap" and Lillie Mae (Thurman) Littrell. She had lived in Hopkins County all her life and was employed as a waitress. She married Billy Joe Coffman in 1948. Survivors include her husband; her parents; her sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Raymond Green of Cumby and Mrs. Lushion Woodrow Kirtley of Sulphur Springs; her half sisters, Mrs. Ora Lee Patterson of Commerce and Mrs. Robert Emmett Prenderville of Dallas; her brothers, Jesse Calvin Littrell, Jr. stationed with the Army in San Francisco, California, and Donald Dewain Littrell and J. D. Littrell, both of Ridgeway; her half brothers, James Robert Littrell of Beaumont and Jesse Waller Littrell of Fort Worth; and her step-grandmother, Alice Littrell.
