Thayer County Sheriff Carl Forrest, two deputies and State Patrolman Al Wise notified the Chester Rescue Unit and firemen and a search was organized. The Tractor was found in the wheat stubble 3/4 of a mile west of the home and officers and volunteers fanned out in a spiral search pattern.
