Son of John and Mary (Curda) Walla. Married Ella Tomanek on February 20, 1900 at Abie, Nebr. by a Justice of the Peace. ''''''''''''''''''''''' Albion Weekly News (Albion, Nebr.), July 20, 1911, p. 12, col. 2 CEDAR RAPIDS. From the Outlook. The death of Lewis Walla occurred at his home near Primrose Tuesday evening. Mr. Walla had undergone an operation on last Saturday for appendicitis but in his weakened condition he was unable to withstand the shock. He was an influential farmer and very well thought of in the vicinity of Primrose. Besides his wife, he leaves two [sic] children to mourn his untimely death. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning from the Catholic church in Cedar Rapids.
