Bio
VICTORIA - Marian Darilek Bolech, 80, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2012. She was born in Moulton to the late Frank and Frances Darilek. Marian's hobbies included cooking, quilting, canning, sewing, and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was involved in activities at Nazareth Academy, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church's Sewing Circle, Altar Society, and many other committees and enjoyed working with Stephen Ministry. Survivors omitted In addition to her parents, Marian is preceded in death by her sister, Della Simper; brothers, Edward Darilek, August Darilek, Ben Darilek, Leonard Darilek, Ernest Darilek and Leroy Darilek; and Ben Jr.'s fiancé, DeDe Koenig. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Grace Funeral Home. A rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Monsignor Celestino Say officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Grace Funeral Home, Victoria in charge of arrangements. Published by the Victoria Advocate December 23, 2012.
