The Victoria Advocate, Thursday 2-15-1973 Edward Darilek Advocate News Service MOULTON Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic church in Mouiton for Edward Ernest Danlek, 63, Moullon Elementary School principal. Burial was in the Moulton Catholic Cemetery. Officiating at the services were the Rev. Robert Schmidt of Mouiton and the Rev. Stanley Petru of Hallettsvilie. Rosary was recited Saturday night at Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Darilek died suddenly Feb. 8 of an apparent heart altack. Born in Fayette County Oct. 24, 1909, Mr. Darilek was the son of Frank T. Darilek and Frances Kahanek. He married the former Josephine Simper of Moulton. Survivors include his wife; one daughter. Mrs. Edward Hajek of Edna; two sons, Joe Darilek of Edna and Ben Darilek of Moulton, six brothers, Leonard and Leroy Darilek of Mouiton, August and Frankie V. Darilek of Shiner, Ben Darilek of Flatonia, and Ernest Darilek of Victoria; five sisters, Mrs. Willie Simper and Mrs. Victor Schoenfeld of Moulton, Mrs. Elroy Othold of Shiner, Mrs. Wilbert Faldyn of Brenham and Mrs. Ben Balek of Victoria.
