From Moberly Monitor-Index, Monday, 6-5-1972, Ancestry.com, pg. 2 MRS. ANNIE LYNN Mrs. Annie B. Lynn, 74, of 812 Promenade, died Sunday afternoon at Woodland Hospital after an illness of five months. Born April 2, 1898, in Randolph County. she was the daughter of Lawrence and Mary Hudson Spicer. She had lived all her life in this area and was a member of the Sweet Springs Baptist Church and Gold Star Mothers. Surviving are the husband, George W. Lynn; three daughters, Mrs. James Tipton, St. Louis; Mrs. Frank Alexander, Moberly; Mrs. Archie Fowlkes, Waterloo, Iowa; three sons, Larry Brockman, Columbia and Earl Brockman and Jake Brockman, both of Waterloo; brother, Richard Spicer, Higbee; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband Grover Brockman, and three children, one sister and three brothers. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Million Greer and Comstock Chapel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardesn. The Rev. Kenneth Sears will officiate.
