Bio

Mary Elizabeth Hudson was the daughter of Robert Hudson and Mary Nealie Miles. She married Lawrence Spicer. "Mrs. Mary E. Spicer, 75, died at 9 o'clock last night at the home of her son, Richard Spicer, north of Higbee, after failing health of several months. Mrs. Spicer is survived by the son; two daughers, Mrs. Annie Brockman of Moberly and Mrs. Ella Derboven, near Huntsville; and 18 grandchildren. Born on a farm west of Moberly, Mrs. Spicer has spent most of her life in this vicinity. She was a member of the Sweet Springs Baptist Church. The body will remain at the Mahan Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Searcy White of Higbee will officiate and burial will be in Oakland cemetery."
