Frances Louise Cates Frances Louise Cates of Mabank, born April 29, 1929 of Whitt, Texas to Ira Hastin Cate and Janie Cloud Carr Cates died June 2, 2001 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Dean Harris in 1990. Survivors include her husband Oscar Lewis Harris of Mabank: son, Steve Harris and wife Sharon Harris of Alvarado: daughters , Linda Cox of Seagoville, Elaine Brown and husband Ray of Marshall, Georgia Jackson and husband Albert of Mabank daughter in Law Linda Sue Harris of Mesquite, Kay Starkes of Athens. Brothers: George Cates of Mesquite, Johnny Cate of Nashville, Tennessee. Sisters: Myrtle Cofer of Winnsboro, Janice Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee, Beverly Smith of Ft Worth, 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Services 12:30 pm Tuesday, June 5, 2001 in Eubank Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Williams and Danny Davis officiating. Interment 3:00 pm Tuesday in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
