Elizabeth Kallus was born on 23 August 1896 in Fayette County, Texas. She was the first of four children of Frank Josef Kallus and Elizabeth Wiesner Kallus. Her siblings were: Frank Theodore Kallus, Anna Wilhelmina Kallus, and Emilie Louise "Millie" Kallus. She married John Thomas Pesek Sr. They became the parents of John T. Pesek Jr., Victor J. Pesek, and Katherine E. Pesek. Elizabeth Kallus Pesek died on 10 March 1983 in Jourdanton, Atascosa, Texas.
