John Thomas Pesek Sr. was born on 27 May 1893, the son of Joseph Pesek Sr. and Katerina Varcaba Pesek. He married Elizabeth Kallus, daughter of Frank J. Kallus and Elizabeth Wiesner Kallus. They became the parents of John T. Pesek Jr., Victor J. Pesek, and Katherine E. Pesek. John T. Pesek Sr. died on 3 February 1982 in Jourdanton, Atascosa, Texas.
